If you are interested in joining the Freeland Lions Club, but aren't really sure what to expect, we'd like to invite you to attend one of our meetings. Have a great dinner on us, meet some of our members, and ask any questions you may have. 

If you aren't sure you are ready to join the club but you'd like to help us out, we'd love to have your assistance. With the many different events we put on and participate in throughout the year, we have a place for anyone who is willing. 

Our Meetings are held at the Memorial Park Building, 150 Park St. - behind Subway and Taco Bell in Freeland.

Generally, meetings are held at 7:00 p.m. on the 1st and 3rd Thursday of each month from September through May.​

Meetings are very casual, just a group of guys sitting down to discuss ways to improve our community. Dinner is provided to you as a guest at no charge.

We don't typically hold meetings during the summer months. A more detailed schedule of our annual events is shown below.

*Annual Walleye Festival. This is the number one event for all members to become involved. Freeland kicks off both the walleye and summer festival seasons with one of the most popular events in Michigan. Each year's festival has outdone the last. This year, we need your help!

We give away 100 Turkeys to the Freeland Community through the local Freeland Churches
